How We Can Help

Communication is more than talking. We support children, young people, and adults to understand themselves, express their needs, build relationships, and participate in the things that matter to them.

Speech and Language Assessment

Comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication, including as part of neurodevelopmental assessments. Lucie is trained in the ADOS-2 and conducts dynamic assessment to understand how each person learns and communicates best.

About Lucie

Lucie Dorse is a Speech Pathologist with a background spanning education, mental health, and disability support. She holds a Master of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University and is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.

Lucie has worked across schools, private practice, community settings, and tertiary mental health services, including Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS), where she supported young people and families through assessment and intervention within a family-centred model of care.

Her experience within transdisciplinary teams gives her a holistic understanding of how communication, participation, and wellbeing are deeply connected. This allows her to integrate goals across disciplines into meaningful, everyday supports.

Lucie is passionate about supporting young people to better understand themselves, express their needs, build relationships, and participate confidently in the activities that matter to them. She is a certified facilitator of the Tuning in to Kids and Parent Hope programs and has experience delivering parent groups and caregiver capacity-building supports.
